About Tim Stokes

I'm a senior sustainability and clean energy leader with over 30 years' experience designing and delivering impactful public sector programmes that tackle climate change, drive energy efficiency and support a just transition to a low carbon future. Throughout my career, spanning government agencies, local authorities, NGOs and EU funded programmes, I've led teams, shaped regulatory policy, and built strong engagement strategies that connect policy with people. My passion lies in turning climate goals into action, especially by working across sectors to build trust, align incentives and support meaningful change at community, business and national levels, For the last decade, I've been at SEAI, in an evolving Market Surveillance Authority role, initially setting up the programme, progressing to managing the team, and then most recently, taking on the role of Campaigns, Compliance Promotion and Stakeholder Engagement Programme Manager - while also managing the redevelopment of the Triple E Product Register. I believe that effective climate action depends not only on sound policy and strong data, but also on communication, collaboration and leadership grounded in values. I'm always open to connecting with like-minded professionals, organisations or initiatives working towards a more sustainable future.
