Hi! I'm Tim, a Clinical Psychologist and software developer I'm the Director of Effective Psychology, a psychology practice located on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria (a truly beautiful part of the world). Here I work with clients using approaches that centre primarily around Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) and mindfulness. Spirituality and philosophy are salient interests of mine, and I integrate them into psychotherapy where helpful. Early on, I discovered a great love for data science and coding. I am an expert in the R programming language, and became the principal data analyst for a large-scale research collaboration between Western Health and The University of Melbourne during 2020 and 2021. This research, which involved over 70 general practices across Victoria, evaluated Future Health Today (FHT), a digital health intervention that uses data from health records to automate the detection of chronic disease in primary care. Today, my team and I are busy preparing to release a scientific, digital platform for capturing allied health treatment outcomes. It's called Measurely, and I can't wait to share it with you.
