About Todd Culbertson

Our God has a heart for all nations; in fact it could be said that THE big thing God is doing in this church age is making disciples among each and every people group (ethnos) – and He has always called ordinary and frail people to play a part. There are still thousands of people groups with no Christian witness, no church, and no Bible in their language. “And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?” (Rom. The Lord has opened doors for our family to be a part of this effort by serving in Ontario at the Emanate training center. Todd has a gift for linguistics and will be teaching phonetics, phonemics and grammar – all interactive classes that prepare future missionaries to become more effective language learners. The good news of Jesus Christ is the most important message the world has ever known, and cross-cultural church planters need the tools to communicate it clearly. We are also looking forward to being part of the training center community and being involved in one-on-one discipleship of missionary trainees. We are humbled to realize that our family is just a small piece of the amazing work that God is doing among the nations. We are thankful that “there are many parts, but one body” (1 Cor. 12:20), and that together we as the body of Christ have the privilege of making disciples of each and every ethnos.
