About Todd Stone

I'm a little odd. I was one of those kids who loved learning but hated school. What cursed me through graduation turned into a super-power when I stumbled into the world of business. I discovered that I had a knack for solving the problems that don't come with textbooks and answer keys. That eventually turned into a chance to help grow a small business into a national leader in their category. Then, after 22 years, I left my COO role because I got bored (and a little burned out). Along the way, I learned that I'm good at helping CEOs, Owners and Senior Leaders, but not very good at being at THE leader. It turned out I was a great #2. Kind of an R2D2 to Luke Skywalker. I am told this is probably related to my willingness to push leaders without a desire to compete with them. The feedback is that they find me a trustworthy and capable partner in pursuing their mission. Again, very much the R2D2 vibe. Now I use those skills to serve others on their journey to master their own role in the great game of business. When I'm not learning about business (not joking, I listen to quarterly earnings calls in my free time), I'm usually learning about something else, especially history, economics, geo-politics, psychology and philosophy. I'm a good team-mate for those trivia nights at the bar. Beyond that, I'm passionate about Adventure Motorcycling, My Dogs and Family.
