Reports to the Group co-CEO and holds a strategic role in the overall management of the Company and wider Group. Primary day-to-day responsibilities are for the planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company including direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, office management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and private and institutional financing. Provides leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives. Ensures credibility of Finance within the Group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts. Directs and oversees all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the Group. Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action. Establishes and maintains strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs. Provides executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities. Manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting from individual Group companies Provides recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities. Ensures that effective internal controls are in place and ensures compliance with relevant GAAP and applicable regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. Responsible for HR and IT projects across the Group.
