I started my career in advertising but changed to charity, as we are so lucky bastards. Wanna join creating impact? Proud of some beautiful brand stories and campaigns we developed as a team over the years at different agencies like TBWA, Ogilvy, DDB and LG & F/Famous for Kom op tegen Kanker, Proximus, Luminus, Aquarius, Jupiler, Toyota, Orde van Vlaamse Balies. My role? Account director In 2009, I switched then from advertising to charity, to SOS Children's Villages. The reason is a personal one. After adopting two children from Ethiopia and witnessing the challenges children face in Ethiopia, I wanted to give my energy and expertise to an organisation who gives orphaned children a home and a future. My role? Head of partnerships and communications at SOS Children's Villages Belgium and Global partnership manager for the international organisation. In April 2019, I took up a new challenge at Uitgeverij Averbode, a children's educational content publisher. My role? Director marketing and innovation. From a passion for marketing and the purpose to have an impact on the development of children. But the impact of working 10 years for the most vulnerable was bigger then I thought. So I decided to go back to 300% inner motivation. Back at SOS Children's Villages Belgium since the 1st of May 2020. Back home My role? Teamleader Partnerships, Major Donors & Legacies. As of July 2022, I got the chance to be part of the Global Brand & Comms team at SOS Children's Villages International, to help roll-out the new brand positioning of the organization. That evolved into a permanent role as of the 1st of April 2023. My role? Global Brand Lead. Always with 1 objective : ensuring that each child and young person can grow up with the bonds they need to become their strongest self.#NoChildAlone #StrongBonds
