Driven and self-starting, challenging the status quo, continuously learning, and making a positive impact on society, every single day. During day time, I develop new services & business models for AkzoNobel Industrial Coatings. Sometimes we do that with collaboration startups, that find us via our #PaintTheFuture platform. Other times we push our own ideas forward. In this current role I am 'closer to the business'. In my previous role, I was Incubator lead and drove more transformational projects forward: Paint robots 🤖, Software development to drive customer efficiency, and completely new paint application tech that is much better for the environment. Over time I gained a lot of experience to create new business models, do (lean startup) experiments to validate those models, do Product Management to shape does products, and guide and coach others on doing the same. At night, I work on It's up to you. Together with @JoerieNijhuis, I founded a digital learning organization that developed & launched an interactive movie & methodology against cyberbullying. I am proud that we reached Dutch school kids annually with our product Do you have other entrepreneurial ideas - let's talk! Strengths I achieve by doing. I am trained to combine Business (innovation master) & Technology (chemical bachelor). I challenge the status-quo: I see how things can be better and more efficient and feel the urge to change. Continuously reflecting on my performance helps me to grow every month. These skills help me perform in (technical) uncertain environments, and that’s why I continue to innovate with enthusiasm. Since 2010 working full-time in SME, corporate and start-up environments, based out of the Netherlands, Singapore, France, and Australia.
