Aviation is a passion. Being a part of it for the last twenty odd years is something that makes me wake up in the morning and head to work smiling and exited. I am responsible for a commercial part of IATA in one of the most demanding parts of the world: Europe, and my customers are some of the largest and most advances Airlines, Airports or Freight Forwarders in the world. The product portfolio I cater for contains solutions that help my customers to become more efficient, better informed and more competitive aviation players. Whether it is Business Intelligence, Settlement Tools, Consulting Services or a Portfolio of Trainings, with an annual target close to €, I must be at the top of my game. Although today I am in sales (since 2011), for the past close to 25 years, I have been involved in most fields of aviation: I passed through Airline Station Management, Airline Sales, BSP Settlement (and implementation of Data Processing Centers in Finland, Poland, Ireland and Scandinavia, or development and implementation of IATA’s global BSPlink system), Distribution and Implementation of E-ticket systems, supporting regional (Nordics) Simplifying the Business projects and teaching Travel Agents the BSP accounting. When I was young I was running marathons and competing in Triathlon, later, for 15 year I was a gym instructor (after regular hours). I would like to think that many of those treats that a good sportsman exhibits are the cornerstones of my professional world today: you need to be both a team player and be a strong individual with integrity to succeed in today business world. Perseverance in your daily chores, determination to reach targets and ability to bring out your best no matter what is happening around you, those are treats I learned running marathons and that help me in a daily business environment until today.
