About Tommy Bowman

My name is Tommy Bowman. I’m the Executive Pastor of Mission Church, a growing community in Chicagoland. I love Jesus, I love the Church, and I love Church Planters. I have never met a pastor who doesn’t want to grow their church. I have never met a pastor who doesn’t desire to grow the people in their church. And yet so many pastors feel stuck. You feel stuck. Your church isn’t growing and your people aren’t growing. You started with a passion and a calling to bring a Movement of God to your community – to see lives impacted for Jesus. But somehow, through the budgets and meetings and barriers, you got stuck in survival mode. I feel your pain. I’ve been leading in the Church for a decade, and I’ve only known growth. But that growth didn’t come without its own share of challenges, mistakes, set-backs and failures. Through all of this, I’ve learned so much about how to lead well and leap over those hurdles – with tools like vision casting, team development, and strategy. I could tell you things you should do and things you shouldn’t. But I’d rather hear your story and work together to implement solutions that will grow your church and grow your people. Remember this: When Jesus started His Church, He started a Movement. We’re a part of it. I’m here for you and your church – as your coach, mentor, friend, and fellow pastor.
