I am the Passenger Transport Manager for Fife Council having previously held a variety of roles within the Council since starting off as a Technician within the then newly formed Public Transport Unit in 1986. I became a chartered member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport in 1995 and most of my 38 years of local authority experience has been in passenger transport having been heavily involved in major bus and rail infrastructure projects as well as managing bus stations and park n rides. My current role sees me managing a budget of £22m looking after the Councils, supported bus network, school transport provision, DRT service, Concessionary travel and bus stations.”
