About Travis Peterson

Travis is a former professional basketball player. In his 10 year career he played in 7 different countries around the world. His commitment to success in his athletic career and life is a huge testament to his character and drive for achievement. He has achieved a number of awards including Balkan League Champion and Balkan League MVP, Israeli League Champion, Bulgarian League Champion, and EuroCup Final Four. He’s a 3x All League Bulgarian award receiver as well as All League Czech Republic to Israeli Champion. Travis is well known in European Basketball as a strong team player and leader. He led as team captain for several years of his career and is one of the most coachable, much sought after players in Europe for his experience, character and skill. He has recently retired from basketball to be closer to family and pursue his other life passions in business and finance. While pursuing his athletic career Travis also pursued multiple business opportunities. He is the founder of 2 Tall Bros, LLC, which is a land investing company. He is also the co-founder of Lou’s Lil’ Donuts, a family owned and operated business in Phoenix, Arizona. Travis has a double degree from Samford University in both Business Management and Economics. I started my post basketball career of at Edelman Financial Engines where I gathered many different skill sets and learned a ton about the personal finance world as well as good leadership lessons and team building. Working for 2 years there. I moved over the Christ Church of the Valley in 2021 to be part of the Stars program. It’s a sports program that sees kids every year. Working with having kids a season and 200+ coaches a season. It really sharpened my leadership skill set and operations of something that size. I moved on from that to a Financial Development Analyst role at CCV. This gets be back into the finance world but in a different sector. More data analytics and real estate focused. I helped with deal flow all the way to project management of some different sectors of helping drive the vision to reach the valley for Christ.
