About Trevor Damster

With over 16 years’ experience working in information technology industry, Trevor is currently heading up the technical department as CTO at HX.Systems, a Herotel company specializing in networking and internet distribution. With a passion for networking, a love for Mikrotik and a continuous drive for improvement, Trevor acquired his Mikrotik Certification as a trainer in 2017 in Riga, Latvia. Since becoming only the second trainer in South Africa with all eight Mikrotik certifications, Trevor already trained and certified more than 150 students and continues to train students on a regular basis. Trevor’s passion for networking and his Mikrotik skills set is evident in the network that he has built for HX.Systems and with his knowledge managed to enable HX.Systems to become the first IPV6 customer ready ISP in the Herotel group. When Trevor is not programming or optimizing network management systems, you will find him outdoors building new high sites, while planning where to go next with his network.
