I am currently working for Harrow Council as a revenues and benefits officer for eight years. In this time, I have developed expert knowledge on the subject as well as developing good organisational skills and time management skills Some of my highlights of experience involve- Assessing claims from applicants of housing benefits/council tax support - Dealing with members of the public assisting with their needs in the local area - Responsibility to answer e-mail within a specified timeframe in current field as well as strongly promote council services - Being part of a 20+ team involved with the overhaul of the current Harrow Council website to implement a new website which proves more user-friendly and efficient for users of all ages. The changes also helped in saving money for a council who are currently affect by budget cuts passed from Government - Having close relations with other departments understanding their requirements to maintain a high standard within the organisation I am also the founder of blogging website odaddybee.com is a blogging site which I created which takes you on a journey through my highs and lows of being a role model Dad to my Daughter. At the same time, I give readers an insight into my life personally through work as well as lifestyle experiences. Though my current blog, whilst it shows the rough and the smooth which comes from life. My main goal is to show other Dad's that it is not as bad as some might feel and a moment in having a child and sharing experiences which should be embraced.
