I am a Co-Founder and AIfE board member, a Senior Manager in strategy and planning at the Services SETA, and a part-time lecturer at UNISA. I have more than 15 years of senior management experience in strategy planning, project management, and scientific research in the fields of community development, labor market, education, health, and entrepreneurship.I am passionate about youth development, especially entrepreneurship development in the 4IR field. I hold a Ph.D. from the University of Cape Town and is a recipient of the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs Scholarship (British University of Columbia), Commonwealth Scholarship (University of York, UK), and Nelson Mandela Fellowship (Human Sciences Research Council), and have extensive work experience in Southern and East Africa.Experienced qualitative and quantitative researcher in the field of skills development, human development, and a strategy development expert with more than 8 years’ experience at the management level. Consultancy experience in the field of social science research, general management, project management, M&E. Facilitation, report writing and presentation skills.More than 18 years of research in the field of social development, health, education, skills development, labour market, M&E and SMME developments. Experience working in the public, private, donor and NGO sectors. • Proven track record of over 18 years working with institutions of higher learning, governments, NGOs, Donors, and SMMEs, in the areas of community development, skills development and entrepreneurship development• Hands-on experience in research management from conception to implementation• Hands-on experience in strategy development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation• University lecturing and academic supervision – MA and PhD levels
