About Tyler Dutton
I grew up in Vancouver, Washington and graduated from Washington State University in 2013 where I studied biology and chemistry. In 2015 I began a 7 month long trip in New Zealand, which is where I fell into the world of winemaking. After making Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir in New Zealand I was determined to learn as much as I could about the winemaking process. Over the next several years I made wine in California, Australia, and Oregon before finding my home at Tranche Estates in 2016. I have worked my way up from intern, to production assistant, to cellar master, and now to assistant winemaker.
