About Tyler Suggs

Touring and performing is an opportunity I have been preparing for since I first picked up the guitar in 2011. Performing, touring, writing, and making music that connects and inspires people is what I do. My goal is to join a professional full-time, touring, and recording band, as well as collaborate on original music. This is perfect timing for me – I am willing to relocate, in excellent health, and free of substance abuse issues, road drama, or rants of any kind. In addition to my current bands, I have completed my Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of West Florida, and have been teaching guitar at Guitar Center in Pensacola, FL, for five years. Highlights of my experience Lead guitar and back-up vocalist: Disco Kiss, Rock and Roll cover band (Fairhope, AL) Songwriter and lead guitar: Jumping the Gun, all-original band (Pensacola, FL) 2nd Guitar and songwriter collaborator: Deadsled Funeral Co, goth rock band (New Orleans, LA) I have performed over 150 shows since 2016, averaging three to four hours each. I play venues all along the Gulf Coast including: the Hard Rock Café in Biloxi, MS; House of Blues in New Orleans, LA; the Mobile, AL Riverfront; Chelsea’s Live in Baton Rouge, LA; Bands on the Beach, Pensacola Beach, FL; Bands on the Blackwater, Milton, FL; as well as various music festivals, private events, and clubs. I would love the opportunity to connect and talk about any open positions to join a touring band. I am able to learn new music very quickly by ear, with an understanding of theory from my music degree, and experience in band dynamics from performing with bands for the past 8 years.
