About Urmo Vallner

35+ years in management. 20+ years as a trainer. That describes a large part of my professional activity since 1985. Adding to that, I also sit on the Board of Directors of several Russian companies such as Maxima Telecom. At Interim Agency Velström Vallner Tohver (VVT), management training and working with managers to increase their knowledge about general management and finances is the service I provide. VVT has been a trailblazer in Estonia since its creation in 2014. We match companies with interim managers and executive positions, bringing the right interim competency to the right company. As the company trainer, people are my primary interest. Of course, processes, procedures, and policies matter. But it is people who put them in place. How they work together and execute the processes, procedures, and policies determines the direction of a business. The most popular training topics companies turn to me are teamwork and motivation. Past experience also plays a role. Time and time again, people and situations play out just as management theory describes it. I know from experience and the stories people have told me over the years. Friendly, soft-spoken, and easy to work with, I’m a solution finder who uses a rational step-by-step approach. It comes from my education in engineering. By following a process, most anything can be achieved.
