About Usman Malik

I am a recent Economics Bsc graduate from Brunel University London specializing in Econometrics with experience in regression analysis and with a keen interest in quantitative finance and trading strategies. I am currently a UK resident but am willing to relocate. I have strong background in computer science and statistics through my studies. I also engage independently in medium-term investing as well as trading. I consider myself a directional systematic trader and have developed strategies which I’ve both manually and automatically backtested and so the role of quantitative researcher strongly appeals to me. With my academic achievements and my independent experience with back testing and developing systems, I feel excited by the prospect of joining a prestigious firm and look forward to contributing to mutual success for both myself and the future of investing strategies by joining the chase for Alpha.
