About Ute Chambers

Science manager with focus on research grant applications and pre-award management of our mainly national and EU grants in the field of biological and medical imaging and sensing technology. My responsibilities also include support for applications for ethics approval of clinical studies. In my previous career I was a passionate orchard management eduction professional with a talent for grower outreach, technology transfer and implementation of real-time, advanced decision making tools. As a former consultant and Manager and Educator for the Washington State University Decision Aid System I managed the development and implementation of models and tools that guide IPM decisions in the WA and BC tree fruit industries. Those responsibilities also included stakeholder education and customer service, ranging from presentations and hands-on workshops to helping users with technology transfer.
