About Veronica Castro

I am a Biotechnologist with a deep passion for Science, with a diverse skill set acquired through my extensive training. I have honed my experimental skills at the Kopinke Lab (University of Florida, USA), the Genetics Laboratory (FHUC, UNL, Argentina), and the Immunological Technology Laboratory (FBCB, UNL, Argentina). Additionally, I possess knowledge in Bioinformatics and have actively participated in numerous conferences and scientific presentations. Challenges extraordinarily motivate me, I love working in teams and learning from each team member. I enjoy developing innovative ideas and projects, especially those that evolve new advances in Science and Technology. Expertise: Molecular cloning, genetic engineering, cell culture, stem cells, immunostaining, fluorescence microscopy, optical microscopy, murine primary cell isolation and purification, Magnetic activated cell sorting (MACS), DNA extraction, PCR, RT-qPCR, Western Blot, agarose gel electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, RNA isolation, recombinant protein expression and purification, ELISA.
