About Vicki Baker

First and foremost I love using my interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills in a rewarding environment. I am highly successful in managing complex, detail-intensive projects. In addition, I have experience working with a wide variety of personalities. I am quickly adaptable to new skills and environments. I have six years experience in the international adoption industry with a broad knowledge of state, federal and international adoption laws. During this time I implemented and managed a new Haiti adoption program. I also created an organized system to manage adoption home studies and post placements for internal and contract employees. As a middle school and high school registrar I have become quite adept in conquering the school's master schedule - from analyzing, building and revising until it is ready for the school year. I manage all aspects of student records: enrollment, withdrawals, reports, transcripts, forecasting, etc. I have become the "go to" person in our district when staff have questions about the district's database system. I've served as the schools AP Coordinator, Prom advisor, and coordinator for graduation. In addition to my "official" Registrar duties I have planned and implemented all aspects of four 15-day cultural and historical trips to the East Coast for 28 - 49 students. I have served as the logistics coordinator for five music department trips to Southern California for 100+ students. I am currently serving my 3rd term as co-president of our classified union.
