About Victor Vale

Over 20 years of professional experience in IT. First few years as a Trainer, teaching students of all levels in various areas of Computing, Development and Database Administration. Last 15 years spent Managing IT Services, starting with physical servers moving to virtual and Microsoft Cloud Environments and services. At the moment I manage the IT environment of a Global Data Consultancy Firm with a workforce that is distributed around the world. Working remotely is quite a recent experience for most companies, primarily due to the COVID-19 situation, but we have been doing this for over 15 years due to the special circumstances of the company. Near 20 technical certifications under my belt in the last few years in Systems, Cloud and Security. The last few years I have implemented the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS) that has allowed us to attain the ISO 27001 International Certification as well as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Compliance for our US Subsidiary that acts as BA (Business Associate) for customers that manage and store PHI (Protected Health Information). Security has become a new passion for me, and my plan is to continue expanding my knowledge in this area.
