Background

About Vindhya Barwal

I’m a content and marketing professional with a strong background in campaign delivery, public relations, and digital media - particularly across gaming, entertainment and purpose-driven storytelling. Over the past few years, I’ve led campaigns for brands like Garnier, Netflix, Prime Video and McDonald’s - spanning creative implementation, influencer partnerships, and audience engagement across digital, experiential and social channels. These campaigns have been recognised in Mediaweek and have won media awards. My earlier experience includes copywriting, PR, and community engagement - shaping a skill set that’s equal parts strategic and creative, with a strong grounding in writing and stakeholder relationships. I specialise in: • Campaign implementation & project delivery • Strategic communication & copywriting (media, marketing & editorial) • Influencer & partner coordination • Stakeholder engagement & creative collaboration I’m also a casual academic at The University of Queensland, where I teach Gaming Cultures and guide student projects in storytelling and strategic communication. I hold a Master of Communication (Dean’s Commendation) and a Postgrad Diploma in Feature Writing, mentored by award-winning author Jerry Pinto. Writing is my first love. I’ve been writing short stories and poetry my whole life and still plan to publish a novel someday Contact: vindhyabarwal@gmail.com
