About Weni Chaniago

I am deeply passionate about Community Development and Community Empowerment, particularly in rural areas. With a proven track record, I have successfully executed Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programs across multiple regions in Indonesia in collaboration with government and private stakeholders in Indonesia. Notably, I led a groundbreaking community development initiative in partnership with one of Indonesia's largest e-commerce platforms. This endeavor was recognized with the prestigious Padmamitra Award—a government accolade celebrating businesses driving positive social impact. In July 2023, I was selected as a fellow for the YSEALI Academic Fellowship Programme, sponsored by the US Embassy, focusing on Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Development. I was pursuing advanced studies (non-degree) at the University of Connecticut for a month, with the aim to further enhance and expand the social project I have initiated. I am also deeply engaged in Youth Engagement and adeptly manage events through my role at Career Class Indonesia. Career Class is an impactful initiative focused on fostering essential skills and enhancing people' career trajectories. As a key contributor, I am responsible for external relations, overseeing interactions with corporate, social, and government clientele.
