About Wesley Bascon-Oconnell

I recently just graduated from Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, AZ this past May of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Business from the W.P. Carey School of Business. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.65 GPA in relevant business coursework such as Public Speaking, Sports Brand Strategy, and Fan Behavior of Sports Marketing. With my degree, I plan to pursue a career in the sports industry and start my own business in the future. Currently, I am seeking opportunities that will give me hands-on experience in the Sports Industry and its day-to-day operations. I recently just finished an internship at rEvolution as an Integrated Client Services Intern where I was able to expand my communication, problem solving, and relationship building skills through account management. That experience has reaffirmed my passion to work in sports. Ultimately, I am striving to use my degree to make an impact in the world of Sports and want to build connections with the top people in this space.
