Will (Viriamu) Fleming is a Cook Island video director and podcast host/producer, who has made a significant mark as a multifaceted tech professional in various domains. His expertise is rooted in a wealth of broadcast television experience, having directed, edited, and produced for renowned broadcasters such as Sky, TVNZ, and TV3 (MediaWorks). As the Founder of Campfire Studios in Auckland, New Zealand, Will's focus has been on Podcast and Video Production, crafting authentic and engaging digital content. He founded Campfire Studios to amplify more Pacific voices and to strengthen collaboration between generations, creating more connected communities through safe Talanoa. Throughout his career, Will has supported hundreds of people on camera, behind a microphone, and on stage, helping them to tell and capture their authentic stories. He acknowledges their past, helps make sense of the present, and prepares them for the future. In addition to his work with Campfire Studios, Will has served as a Digital Navigator with Accelerating Aotearoa Charitable Trust. He has been instrumental in serving the Ōtara community, focusing on STEM education through "Geek Camps", unlocking local potential through digital and traditional upskilling programmes, and enhancing entrepreneurial mindsets through community enterprises. Previously, Will served as a Digital Technology Lecturer at Manukau Institute of Technology for nearly five years until May 2022. His role encompassed teaching Digital Media, managing databases, and providing hands-on expertise in storytelling, camera operation, and editing. Will's career showcases a blend of technological skill and community engagement. He has demonstrated a strong emphasis on Video Podcasting, Video Editing, Post-Production, and Social Media, coupled with contributions to literacy and innovation within Indigenous Māori and Pasifika contexts.
