About Wiseman Mkhize

Growing up with both experiences from the old to new dispensations of South Africa, in year 1994 the country achieved democracy, but to us as junior South africans, this meant nothing much at that time. I grew up deep in the township, more of informal settlements with the common story i.e. growing up with a single parent. My mother was a domestic worker, with grace, I made it thus far. Education background: Studied Environment and recreation Technology with Durban University of Technology. Wiseman also holds a higher certificate in Project Management from University of Cape Town. Work Experience: 1. Former Horticulturists at EThekwini Municipality between 2005 and 2010 2. Former Education and Development at Kwa Zulu Natal Philharmonic Orchestra between 2010 up to 2016. The Former CEO at Light of Ubuntu NPC, a Not for profit community organization. Currently: A Chief Executive at Clermont Choir Foundation, an organization emanated from the Clermont Community Choir and later registered as the Foundation under leadership of Mkhize. Under his leadership, the Foundation has achieved tremendously with national and international profile and achievements musically. Wiseman is also the Founder and Executive Chairman of Wise Creations and Communications, a company specializing in production and artists management. Recently an Ascent Leadership networks fellow Wiseman’s latest achievement includes an appointment by International Association for the Advancement of Innovative Approaches to Global Challenges (IAAI)- a United Nations accredited civil organization with the UN ECOSOC -and UN status.
