Ramirez has been a field producer with CTSA-15 since 2013. He has produced high-profile stories during his career at CTSA including covering the largest mass shooting in Texas history, in Sutherland Springs and the announced of re-opening parishes via a 1942 SNj,"Ole' Yeller" amidst the pandemic (Lone Star Emmy® Nominated). Ramirez directs and edits several TV shows/news for CTSA where he has conducted interviews with Ted Koppel, Rita Moreno, Phil Collins, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Shia LaBeouf & Matthew McConaughey. Ramirez handles motion picture clip licensing for several movie studios including ABC-TV's The Goldbergs, Black-ish and Mixed-ish. Ramirez supports non-profits that inspire, educate, and empower people of all walks of life. Xavier actively supports TEDx San Antonio, Society of Professional Journalists, SXSW, Geekdom, Austin Film Society, International Documentary Association, I Have a Dream Foundation, Catholic Charities, 3DS-3Day Start Up & Dance Therapy. He is a judge for the Lone Star EMMY® chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
