About Zac Adair

As founder and executive director at The National Center for Outdoor & Adventure Education (NCOAE), I find myself in the position of ensuring the proper feeding and caring of my growing outdoor and adventure education company. I approach this first and foremost by possessing more than two decades of outdoor industry experience, which add to on a daily basis. I possess a high proficiency in outdoor program business management and administration. At NCOAE, I am tasked with developing and executing the strategy and vision of our Wilmington, N.C-based business, which includes establishing the philosophy, mission, policies and procedures of the organization. And while I'm performing and perfecting these areas of focus, I'm also making programming decisions and directing training and education functions. I am certified as a North Carolina EMT and Wilderness EMT (WEMT), and am a member of the Association for Experiential Education (AEE) and the Wilderness Medical Society (WMS). My other professional certifications and designations include Leave No Trace (LNT) Master Educator, and Wilderness Medicine Instructor.
