About Zema Mirza
A global health professional with over 10 years of experience implementing and managing health projects. I started my public health career in Bangladesh focused on improving access to and promotion of primary health services for low-income communities. For the past 7 years, I have been engaged in global efforts in family planning and reproductive health and maternal and child health across a number of countries in South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. My public health interest lies at the intersection of gender, racial/ethnic and socioeconomic disparities in health.
