About Zhenya Hyman

30 years ago during a time of momentous and tumultuous changes in my mother country Russia, I was a single mom and became a business woman to provide for my family. I developed resistance, wisdom and stamina and had to overcome many obstacles in a country that remains patriarchal to this day. These skills helped me well when my son and I moved to the US 22 years ago and I had to restart from scratch in a country I didn’t know and with a language I needed to learn. I worked several jobs and became a successful entrepreneur. I established an insurance brokerage and small real estate investment firm. Through my adult life I was a role model and mentor for many other women. Intuitively I wanted to help other women overcome obstacles and see how they can succeed in anything they want. I love seeing the positive changes as people become inspired and motivated. Recently I discovered life coaching, and realized it provides a formal framework and education for what I had been doing informally and would enable me to become much better equipped to help others. I’ve been so excited to see how the tools I have been learning can be applied to help others. My goal is to continue to expand my skill set and focus on women early in their careers as well as mature women going through career and life shifts, and to help them help them to build a resilient and adaptive character and become better professionals as well as better deal with all of the work life challenges that women face. I hope I can take the skills I learn to make the world a better place, one woman at a time :)
