About Zoe Roberts

Ms. Roberts is an Electrical Engineering Technologist with 18 years of AutoCAD drafting and design experience in power distribution systems, electric heating systems, communication systems, and fire alarm systems. She has also been trained in lighting system design using simulation software to achieve optimal lighting solutions. Ms. Roberts joined CBCL in July of 2011, having worked previously with Core Engineering. Other previous work experience included positions with Russell Food Equipment in Etobicoke, ON, and Fugro Airborne Surveys of Mississauga, ON. While working with Russell Food Equipment as a Parts and Service Technician, she handled in-shop electrical repairs and modified existing electrical contract designs, prepared service quotes and was responsible for supply and order of equipment. During her time at Fugro Airborne Surveys, she installed electrical equipment to data racks and assisted with airborne surveys and data collection. In her role at CBCL in St. John’s, Ms. Roberts is involved in both commercial and industrial projects. Her responsibilities include electrical design and lighting layouts for new and existing buildings, wharves, roadways and parking, as well as equipment approval, site observations and contract administration. She also holds current WHMIS and First Aid certificates.
