Mostly all the craftsmen across the country used to buy back scrap gold and silver jewellery and bullion from the customers and the process with some top craftsmen are standard. However 99.00% of the cases they buy your gold for the published rate after reducing wastage, and in turn, they sell new ornaments to you! Though you may think it is a fair deal, but actually it is not a fair deal for the customer in most of the cases!
