ERDL = Environmental Research and Design Lab. We are a industry leading multidisciplinary design studio and think tank based in Macao, SAR and Pretoria, South Africa. Our focus is the research, development, and design of solutions to everyday problems and questions by exploring different design scales, from the micro to the macro. We operate within the fields of Urban Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, and Eco-Consulting. Our design philosophy emerges from a colorful mix of contemporary experiences and cultures based on our eclectic understanding of today’s evolving world. We capture and print that ever-changing dynamic in our design vision through the virtues of geometric organization, pragmatism, and logic. In our projects, we aim to include Environmental Responsibility as a fundamental and ubiquitous concept in the design process and all of its final products.
