مجلس أصحاب الأعمال الليبيين مؤسسة اهلية غير ربحية تأسست في العام 2003 وفقا للقرار رقم 74 والصادر عن أمين اللجنة الشعبية العامة للاقتصاد والتجارة وتم اعتماد لائحته التنفيذية بقرار من مجلس الوزراء رقم لسنة 2012م وذلك كخطوة لتنظيم صفوف رجال وسيدات الأعمال الليبيين لخدمة الاقتصاد الوطني كمؤسسة تتمتع بالشخصية الاعتبارية والذمة المالية المستقلة بمقرها الرئيسي بطرابلس وفرعيه في كل من بنغازي وسبها ، وذلك بهدف دعم القطاع الخاص والمساهمة في بناء اقتصاد وطني سليم.
