Zarqa University

The University started with six colleges, that comprised a hundred and fifty students enrolled in twenty majors. In the academic year of 2012/2013 the number of faculties has increased to reach thirteen colleges comprising thirty-nine undergraduate majors, and postgraduate programs in English Language and Literature, Arabic Language and literature, accounting, computer science, mathematics, and marketing, enrolled by more than eight thousand students. Seeking to excel, The university has employed a group of dedicated experts and scholars in their areas. Admission was not only for Jordanian students, but also for students from sixty Arab and foreign nationalities, which gave the university its renowned reputation in cultures diversity. The University also contributes in serving and helping the local, national, regional, and international communities, through the promotion of cultural enrichment, providing educational opportunities, and teaching, through its educational centers. The library of the University is considered a major landmark, with an estimated area of square meters; the library subscribed with the Jordanian legislation encyclopedia, the Judicial Journal, and other databases that provide researchers with different services. The library is also an active member in professional organizations, and it also contains internet labs, a library for the indexation of Hadith,and blind people services.
