Muskoka Seniors has been providing services to seniors living in Muskoka for over 30 years. Incorporated in September 1990, Muskoka Seniors' mission is to provide community support services that support independence among seniors who are living in their home for as long as possible. Currently, over 800 clients are active in at least one program; many using multiple services. Muskoka Seniors serves seniors (aged 60 and over) living in the geographical area known as ‘North Muskoka’, which includes Huntsville, Dorset, Baysville, Port Sydney, and surrounding rural areas. SERVICES - Friendly Visting - Social Connections - Transportation - Meals on Wheels DONATIONS Our goal at Muskoka Seniors is to have the resources required to serve each client who wants to make use of our services. Orono Agricultural Society
The Orono Agricultural Society is a “Not for Profit” organization, established in 1852. The Society prides itself in hosting family oriented agricultural events and entertainment. Since its inception in 1851, people have been drawn to the various exhibits, entertainment and competitive events. After being held for many years in Newcastle, the fair moved to its present location in 1895. The Orono Fair is the result of an amalgamation of the West Durham Agricultural and the Clark Agricultural Societies in 1932. As a result of this union, the Durham Central Agricultural Society was established. On January 19th 2011 the society name changed once again and is now known as Orono Agricultural Society. Thus change in name was to enable our fair to be found easier on the net search, as well there is a county called Durham in Western Ontario which posed difficult to distinguish between the two fairs.

The farther reach however is to remind people how good it feels to do good, and to help our community understand how much goes into creating a single meal for those who don’t have.
