Rgs Worcester
RGS Worcester is an academically selective Independent day School that can trace its origins to 685 making it the sixth oldest school in the world. In 1950 it became a state-funded grammar school in the 11+ system. In 1983 it reverted to Independent status and in 2002 it became co-educational. In 2007 the journey to a fully mixed school was completed with the merger between RGS Worcester and its neighbour, The Alice Ottley School (AOS) for girls. Today it is fully co-educational, comprising two prep schools (RGS The Grange and RGS Springfield), RGS Worcester and RGS Dodderhill Senior Schools. It educates children from 2-18 years old and provides a vibrant co-curricular program of Sport, Drama, Art, Music, Debating, CCF and DofE alongside academic studies. The Headmaster is John Pitt. There is a large, vibrant alumni community that actively supports the School with careers advice for pupils. The RGSW Careers Service has been recognised by the local Chamber of Commerce for its links with employers. Voluntary donations from alumni continue to expand the bursary programme which provides means-tested fee remission to families who would not otherwise be able to consider RGSW for their children. In June 2017 The RGSW and AOS Foundation was established to facilitate fundraising activities and to manage alumni relations, both of which had been handled by the Development Office since 2012. Careers support and voluntary giving complement a wide range of social gatherings that alumni enjoy each year in Worcester and London. Open Days are held each October and January. Prospective pupils and parents are welcome to visit the School outside of these events by making an appointment with the Registrar. A number of pupils attending the School are children of RGSW and AOS alumni. Job vacancies are advertised on the School website.

Roedean School, Brighton
As an academic school, we seek to inspire curiosity and a love of learning in all our girls. The strength of teaching at Roedean is that discussion and debate sit at the heart of learning. Lessons are thought-provoking and meaningful, and in all lessons girls thrive through collaboration, cooperation, challenge, and discussion with each other. Our girls are keen to think, to learn, to explore, and to develop intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Our holistic vision of education also places a very high value on all the experiences that take place beyond the classroom, all of which make up an essential part of life at Roedean. The opportunity for girls to be able to excel in a number of different fields is one of the great gifts of Roedean, since it provides them with the space and time to devote to their passions, and all in one place in its unique clifftop location in Brighton. Roedean offers the kind of teaching, learning, and all-round experiences that enable every single girl to find her passion and voice, meaning every one leaves Roedean feeling that anything is possible. It is precisely this rounded education which produces independent and creative young women who will make their mark in the world. A Roedean education is a unique and wonderful experience. At Roedean, we are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic members of staff, who are keen to prioritise the girls’ well-being and happiness at all times. We are looking for those who enjoy working as part of a team, and who appreciate the importance of the girls’ all-round experience at school. We are hoping that the girls will become lifelong learners, always keen to undertake new challenges and learn from their experiences, and Roedean has the same wish for its staff; the school is happy to provide support and training to facilitate the professional development if needed.

Our core educational aim is to deliver engaging, progressive education, and is an aim that has driven our teaching since the foundation of Quaker education here in 1699. Children also settle without the anxiety and disruption of changing schools enabling them to concentrate on their studies and form long lasting friendships.
