I School
I School is a non profit organization that was established by students in ‘The Rabin Leadership Program’ at the IDC Herzliya. The organization provides private online tutoring lessons in primary subjects, English and Math. Assigning over lessons with 80 volunteers from Israel’s top university students we are looking to expand our framework. The lessons are geared towards elementary school students in periphery areas in order to grant them access to the help they need in order to succeed. This year we have paired our volunteers in the municlipnies of Yeruham and Dimona and we are expanding into other areas. All of our volunteers participate in training sessions given by teachers from the ‘Teach Israel First’ program. The sessions are gread to give tools and teaching techniques for online tutoring. Learning about the school curriculum and how to create a positive learning experience for our students. העמותה הוקמה בספטמבר 2020 בהמשך ליוזמה חברתית בעיצומו של משבר הקורונה. חזון העמותה הינו צמצום פערים חברתיים, חינוך שווה לכולם, ללא תלות ביכולת כלכלית או מגבלה גיאוגרפית. באמצעות שיעורי עזר מקוונים "אחד על אחד" שיועברו ע"י סטודנטים ומתנדבים נוספים מכל רחבי הארץ לתלמידים בפריפריה, תקדם העמותה הזדמנות שווה לחינוך. בשנת הלימודים הקרובה העמותה פועלת באופן ממוקד עם מספר ערים ורשויות מקומיות. החלטנו למקד את הפעילות ולשדרג אותה כך שבאמצעות אתר ייעודי תוכל להתבצע ההתקשרות בין הסטונדט לתלמיד. כיום סטודנטים בעלי מלגות שונות ממוסדות שונים, יכולים להצטרף אלינו ולבצע את שעות המלגה שלהם דרכינו. יצרנו אלטרנטיבה המאפשרת לסטודנטים לקחת חלק בהתנדבות משמעותית ביותר למרות המגבלות הפיזיות והתקופה המאתגרת. נשמח לשמוע מכם, מוזמנים ליצור איתנו קשר בכתובת המייל שלנו: michal@i-school.co.il

Idu Israel Directors Union
Over the past decade, Israel, and the rest of the world have been developing a new approach concerning the position and the functions of the Director, with an emphasis on publicly-traded companies. The characterization of the last decade’s Directors is entirely different from his predecessors, as today they are faced with many new dilemmas. In addition, there is a lack of adequate training for this position, as well as the lack of preparation for shareholders' expectations from the Board of Directors in general, and from the Director in particular. Legislators, regulators and the courts aggravate the responsibility expected of directors, and the result is a culture in which class action law suits are the first remedy. The Israeli Directors’ Union was established under the initiative of Prof. Joseph Gross, Esq, who serves as Chairman of the Union. A number of entities has joined, including the Faculty of Management at Tel Aviv University, Israeli Corporate Governance Chair at Bar Ilan University, LAHAV Executive Education at Tel Aviv University, the Israeli Association of Publicly Traded Companies and SRI Global Group. The IDU was created in a manner similar to analogous organizations, which for years have been operating in the United States, England, Australia, New Zealand and other countries, and collaborating with them with the intention to create multinational companies, as well as to participate in international conferences, exchange information and more. IDU brings together directors and boards of directors of public companies, large private companies, state-owned companies, municipal companies and large institutions.
