Agronova As
AgroNova AS has developed and patented a process for treatment of organic waste based on the structural agent Fibral®, an environmentally friendly product based on recycled newspaper. By adding Fibral® into the composting process we achieve a fast and safe composting process within 5 to 7 days. The process takes place in a specially designed composting unit (ACU) where temperature and process time is carefully controlled and supervised. The end product, composted biomass, is used as organic fertilizer, a pelletized product supplied in small sacks to retailers. AgroNova offers solutions for local handling of organic waste with the AgroNova Composting Unit (ACU). We also take care of the biomass after completed composting as well as handle scrap office paper from the AgroNova AS - er ett miljøteknologifirma beliggende i Moss. Her har vi produksjon av strukturmateriale som er fiber hentet fra resirkulerte aviser. Her har vi også testanlegg for alle typer organisk avfall (f.eks matavfall) og anlegg for produksjon av biomasse (vekstjord). AgroNova Prosessen - ANP - er utviklet i samarbeid med ledende forskningsmiljøer i Norge. Prosessen er markedets mest bærekraftige metode for behandling av slam og organisk avfall. Ecofiber Recycling A S
Ecofiber Recycling AS was founded in 2015. The company is an approved recycling facility for fiberglass and composites from leisure boats, construction, offshore, aquaculture, agriculture and wind turbines blades. The disposal of fiberglass and composite is something we want to challenge. These materials from various decommissioned products are delivered to our facility as waste being processed into an end material, that can be utilized as input factor in various new circular products. Our team is strongly committed to contribute towards the new circular economy. Ecofiber Recycling AS is proud to have contributed to the introduction of a government supported refund scheme for leisure boats, implemented in October 2017. In Norway alone, there are about 1 million leisure boats and at least 20% of these are ready to be decommissioned and recycled. Recycling of these leisure boats represents a far better environmental value proposition than this waste being left on land, sunk in the ocean, burned or delivered to landfill.

KBAL has been developedby Ship owners for Ship Owners and complies with the IMO and USCG D2 discharge standard. The first technology of it's type that uses neither filter nor chemicals. KBAL is fully compliant in all waters and is capable of treating water with a UVT as low as 26%, a unique benefit when operating at ports with regular tidal change where UVT consequently may drop significantly during cargo operation.

Ocean GeoLoop develops and industrializes innovative green technologies with global scaling potential. The company was established as an offshoot of the research project Ocean, initiated by Hans Gude Gudesen in 2006. Ocean GeoLoop is based on long-term systematic research and method development, connected in a holistic concept with the aim of solving the greatest challenges of our time – a combined climate, environment and resource crisis. THE CHALLENGE Currently, more than 80% of the energy produced globally each year is generated through fossil fuel combustion, resulting in more than 37 gigatons of CO2 into the atmosphere each year. As a result, atmospheric CO2 concentrations have risen from less than 300 parts per million (ppm) to more than 400 ppm over the last 100 years, contributing substantially to global warming and climate change. OUR SOLUTIONS The Ocean GeoLoop Carbon Capture solution is characterized by several unique capacities: 100% clean: Separation of CO2 from flue-gas uses no harmful chemicals, no toxic materials and produces no pollutants 100% capture: A new and unique process for capturing and storing CO2 emissions from point sources, removing as close to 100% of CO2 from the flue-gas as practically measurable 100% self-financed: Integrated in the future GeoLoop Carbon Capture solution will be an electricity generation module, the e-Loop, a novel and proprietary hydropower system. The e-Loop can produce electricity from low grade (< 100 C) waste heat sources (e.g. flue-gas). Our ambition is to deliver a capacity sufficient to supply all power required by the carbon capture process. In addition, sale of surplus power will allow coverage of related CAPEX/OPEX costs.

Enabling restorative growth The production of key resources, such as clean water, clean energy and a sustainable production of food represents some of our time’s greatest challenges. The Sahara Forest Project is a new environmental solution that provides a holistic approach to tackle these challenges. The Sahara Forest Project has a vision of creating re-vegetation and green jobs through profitable production of food, water, clean electricity and biomass in desert areas. This is done by combining already existing and proven environmental technologies, such as evaporation of seawater to create cooling and distilled fresh water (i.e. in a saltwater based greenhouse) and solar thermal technologies. In this way The Sahara Forest Project is designed to utilize what we have enough of to produce what we need more of, using deserts, saltwater and CO2 to produce food, water and energy.
