Fischmaster! Frischer Fisch ist unsere Leidenschaft! Auf dem ehemaligen Konversionsgelände in der Gemeinde Trebur ist unsere Zanderzucht mit Hofladen und Gastronomie etabliert. Die Frischfisch-Verarbeitungsanlage ist EU-zertifiziert - in dieser Manufaktur werden Fische frisch verarbeitet. Zum Unternehmen gehören der Hofladen und ein Online-Shop zum Verkauf frischer und geräucherter Fische. Den Fisch gibt es ebenfalls im Biergarten (Mai - September) und im Lappland-Zelt (Oktober - April). Der Veranstaltungsraum "Fest-Boden" bietet Platz für 100 Personen. Fischmaster ist auch im Besatzfisch-Geschäft aktiv und beliefert Angelvereine mit Besatzmaßnahmen für ihre Seen. Weiterhin bietet Fischmaster Catering, Gastroservice und Veranstaltungen (wie z.B. Whiskey-Tastings & Live-Musik) an.

Das Fisch-Informationszentrum, kurz FIZ genannt, ist ein eingetragener Verein, der 1997 von Unternehmen und Verbänden der deutschen Fischwirtschaft gegründet wurde. Zu den Gründern gehören die Hochseefischerei und Fischindustrie, der Fischgroß- und einzelhandel sowie die Fischgastronomie. Das FIZ übernimmt die firmen- und produktübergreifende Öffentlichkeitsarbeit für diesen Wirtschaftsbereich. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei die informierende, aufklärende und beratende Kommunikation mit den Medien und Multiplikatoren. Das FIZ ist die Anlaufstelle für Fragen jeglicher Art zum Thema Fisch. Bei der Umsetzung von Themen und Beantwortung von Fragestellungen wird das FIZ von zahlreichen Experten aus der "fischwirtschaftlichen Praxis" unterstützt und kooperiert mit Spezialisten aus Forschung und Wissenschaft. Ziel des FIZ ist es, den Stellenwert von Fisch, Krebs- und Weichtieren sowie der Produkte hieraus weiter zu erhöhen und ihre Bedeutung für eine zeitgemäße und gesunde Ernährung noch mehr herauszustellen. About/Bio Fish-X Project The Fish-X Project is a technology and open-source project which aims at making the European Union fishery industry sustainable. It is a 3-year project and has been initiated and funded by the EU Horizon Europe Programme. The Fish-X Project is being implemented by seven European organisations, called consortium partners, including TransMarTech Schleswig-Holstein (TMT, Germany), EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH, Germany), Collecte Localisation Satellites (CLS, France), North.io (Germany), Sciaena (Portugal), OURZ (Germany), and WWF EPO (Belgium). The Fish-X Project is developing a Fisheries’ Dataspace (Fish-X) and an Insight Platform that is based on smart orchestrated architecture and open interoperable technology via Gaia-X. The dataspace and platform allow users to utilise the data for improved fishing methods, increased yields, and protected endangered fish species. Moreover, the project also targets streamlining the Monitoring, Control, and Surveillance (MCS) Processes to support the implementation of Common Fisheries Policies (CFP). The project also brings together different stakeholders such as large to small-scale fisheries, fishermen associations, regulators, relevant ministries, and decision-makers, to participate in the consultative process of developing and refining new technologies in view of the changes and revisions in CFP.

German Association Of Fish Processing And Wholesale

The German Association of Fish Processing and Wholesale (Bundesverband der deutschen Fischindustrie und des Fischgroßhandels e.V, BVFi) was founded on September 16, 1903 in Hamburg-Altona. It represents 126 member companies, 47 of which are fish processing companies and 57 fish import and fish wholesale companies (as of 01.01.23). In the field of processing, BVFI achieves coverage of 95% for companies with more than 50 employees and 84% when considering companies with 20 employees and more. The production turnover generated by the members amounted to between €1.53 billion and €1.75 billion in 2021. According to the German Federal Statistical Office, fish and fish products worth €1.99 billion were produced in Germany in 2021. Statistical information on the fish wholesale trade is not available. BVFI estimates a coverage rate of approx. 80%, based on the pure fish wholesale trade. Further data and facts can be found in the annual report. BVFI is the point of contact for ministries and authorities at federal and state level for questions relating to fish processing and fish wholesale. Various contacts exist with the individual departments of the Federal Ministry of Food (BMEL) and the Federal Office for Nutrition (BLE). The focus of work changes depending on the topics, which are essentially specified by the European institutions. A main area is the communication and commenting on special legal regulations within the framework of EU fisheries policy and the EU control regulation. Another focus is the legal framework of food law. In addition to supporting legislative initiatives and informing members, BVFI answers to specific inquiries from members. This involves the mediation of interpretation instructions, since the Federal Association is not permitted to provide a service in the sense of legal advice.
