Lake Bounty Group
Located within Lake Victoria catchment area, Lake Bounty is a global player in fish processing, export and preservation of fisheries as a renewable resource. We process and export high quality fresh and frozen fish products. Established in September 2007, Lake Bounty is among the leading fish processors and exporters in Uganda with an installed capacity of 50 tons per day. The factory is a modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art automated machinery and processing plant. The plant is IFS certified, EU approved (No. U05/96), and FDA certified (No. 10239709186) for export to the European Union, United States, and other world markets. A fully functional and approved HACCP system is in place to ensure product safety. The HACCP system is based on a firm foundation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Sanitation Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain a high level of hygiene in the processing plant. Currently, our products are exported to more than 20 countries. Lake Bounty is poised for growth and has major expansion and diversification plans to achieve its short and long terms goals. The Group has augmented its production capacity at two of its sister concerns, Victoria Perch Ltd. at Mwanza, Tanzania and Lake Eco Fish Processing Ltd. at Entebbe, Uganda, processing 50 tons and 30 tons per day, respectively. Recently, Lake Bounty expanded its footprint in the Middle East and building awareness in the United States at the 2013 International Boston Seafood Show.
