I'm responsible for the following main activties: 1- Transposing a set of New Approach EC Directives and EN Harmonized standards of priority to Jordan to approximate EU legislations with the Jordanian ones as a first step towards the negotiation process for the Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products (ACAA). 2- Implementing Good Regulatory Practices at JISM. 3- Conducting Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) to examine and measure the likely benefits, costs and effects of new or changed technical regulations which will provide the decision-makers with valuable empirical data and a comprehensive framework which they can use to assess options and the consequences their decisions may have. 4- Conducting awareness seminars for the relevant stakeholders in Jordan to explain the requirements of the New Approach EC Directives of priority to Jordan. 5- Managing the participation of Jordan at ISO and CEN through acting as a formal contact point for JISM with these organizations and reporting to the Top Management about Jordan's achievements and the required actions to be taken by Jordan to contribute significantly to the development of International and European standardization work. 6- Managing the participation of the national technical committees that shadows ISO/TCs in the international standardization activities. 7- Offering technical consultations and advice to different stakeholders on how to apply and comply with the requirements of Jordanian standards.

Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources-Jordan
أنشئت وزارة الطاقة والثروة المعدنية في العام 1984 و تطور الإطار التنظيمي لها على مراحل عدة كالتالي:* في العام 1984 عُهد للوزارة إدارة وتنظيم قطاع الطاقة بموجب نظام تنظيم وإدارة وزارة الطاقة والثروة المعدنية رقم (26) لسنة 1985 بحيث تتولى مسؤولية التخطيط الشامل للقطاع.* في العام 2011 تم ضم مشروع كهربة الريف للوزارة وإنشاء وحدة تنظيمية لإدارة مشروع كهربة الريف بحيث تصبح جزءا من الهيكل التنظيمي للوزارة.* في العام 2014 انقضت سلطة المصادر الطبيعية المنشأة بموجب قانون تنظيم شؤون المصادر الطبيعية رقم (12) لسنة 1968 وآلت حقوق السلطة وموجوداتها إلى الوزارة باستثناء المهام التنظيمية، وذلك بموجب المادة الثالثة من قانون إعادة هيكلة مؤسسات ودوائر حكومية رقم (17) لسنة (2014). وبناء على ذلك أصبحت الوزارة تعمل على إعداد وتطوير السياسات والتشريعات الملائمة لتحقيق أمن التزود بالطاقة بشكل مستدام بالإضافة إلى مهمتها الأساسية لتحقيق الاستغلال الأمثل للموارد الطبيعية وفق أفضل الممارسات.* في العام 2017 انتقلت مهام الوزارة التنظيمية المتعلقة بمنح الرخص والتصاريح إلى هيئة تنظيم قطاع الطاقة والمعادن، وذلك بعد صدور قانون هيئة تنظيم قطاع الطاقة والمعادن رقم (8) لعام 2017 والمتضمن في المادة (4/ب) بأن تتولى الهيئة المهام والصلاحيات الخاصة بمنح الرخص والتصاريح للأشخاص العاملين في القطاع.* في العام 2019 صدر نظام التنظيم الإداري لوزارة الطاقة والثروة المعدنية (123) لسنة 2019 وترتب على ذلك إعادة هيكلة الوحدات التنظيمية لتحقيق المهام الموكلة إليها بكفاءة وفاعلية.* في العام 2021 صدرت تعليمات تحديد مهام المديريات والوحدات والأقسام لوزارة الطاقة والثروة المعدنية رقم (1) لسنة 2021 صادره بمقتضى الفقرة(أ) من المادة (7) من نظام التنظيم الإداري لوزارة الطاقة والثروة المعدنية رقم (123) لسنة 2019.* في العام 2022 صدر القرار الاداري رقم (1) لسنة 2022 بموجب كتاب رقم م م ب/4160/6/22 تاريخ 13/6/2022 باستحداث قسم العطاءات لغايات تنظيم كافة الإجراءات المتعلقة بالعطاءات التي تشرف عليها الوزارة.

The Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Unit, a public institution that is financially and administratively independent. It is considered a national center for receipt and analysis of suspicious transaction reports and other information relevant to money laundering, associated predicate offences and terrorist financing. The unit exercises its power in accordance with the provisions of the law and coordinates the implementation of the public policy in the field of combating money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation in the Kingdom. It works in line with the vision of the National Committee that includes representatives of the stakeholders from the government sector which draws up public policies in this field.

National Center For Security And Crisis Management
The National Center for Security and Crises Management is based on the advanced vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II, which called for the “creation of a Central Structure (Platform) for Crisis Management and a strategic umbrella through which the efforts of authorities are unified and well-coordinated to deal with possible crises at the state level”. A Royal Letter to the Prime Minister in 2005, directed the establishment of a National Center for Security and Crises Management and His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein was entrusted with supervising the establishment of the Center. In 2013, the construction of the Center’s permanent headquarters was completed in accordance with international standards and specifications and the National Center for Security and Crises Management Bylaw No.(20) for the year 2015, was ratified by a Royal Decree and published in the Official Gazette; the Center became active on April 1, 2015.

Jordanian Ombudsman Bureau
The Ombudsman Bureau investigates complaints regarding any decisions, recommendations, procedures or actions or omissions thereof of the Public Administration or its employees. No complaint against the Public Administration shall be accepted if it is still possible to challenge it before any administrative or judicial body or if its subject is under review before any judicial body or a judicial ruling was issued pertaining it, and issue recommendations to simplify administrative procedures in order to enable citizens to benefit from services provided by the Public Administration with efficiently and ease. The president of the Bureau can also at his own initiative, review any matter related to any decision, measure or practice of the Public Administration, and send his recommendations concerning such matter to the relevant administration, and include them in the annual report. According to the law, the president is the only person who has the authority to accept or reject the complaint. He is also the only person who can take a decision for find an appropriate solution for the case. Of course, all these tasks can be delegated.
