Ggg Stadtbibliothek Basel
Die Stadtbibliothek Basel ist die öffentliche Bibliothek der Stadt Basel. Mit ihrem grossen Buch- und Medienangebot stellt sie eine der wichtigsten Informationsdrehscheiben des Kantons dar. Mit Medien und über 1‘600 Veranstaltungen pro Jahr unterhalten wir 33‘500 Kunden. Gegen 200 Mitarbeitende bieten in neun Bibliotheken, vier Sekundar- schulbibliotheken und der mobilen Leseförderung ein attraktives Angebot in Sachen «lesen, bilden, unterhalten».

Kornhausbibliotheken Bern
Die Kornhausbibliotheken haben ihr Zentrum im Kornhaus im Herzen der Stadt Bern und spannen ihr Netz über die ganze Region. Zum Bibliotheksverbund gehören 8 Quartierbibliotheken mit einer Ludothek, 9 Gemeindebibliotheken mit einer Ludothek, 1 Spitalbibliothek, 2 Spiel- und Lesepavillons und eine Bibliothek im Berner GenerationenHaus. Die Kornhausbibliotheken bieten mit einem Bibliotheksausweis Zugang zu Medien in 12 Sprachen zur allgemeinen Bildung, zur Weiterbildung und Freizeitgestaltung. Sie verleihen Bücher, CDs, DVDs, Blue-Ray Discs, CD-Rom, E-Book-Reader, E-Medien, Zeitschriften, Zeitungen und Spiele. In zahlreichen Zweigstellen gibt es Internetstationen, Publikums-PCs und Kaffee-Ecken. Das Angebot der Kornhausbibliotheken richtet sich an Menschen jeden Alters und jeder Kultur.

Swiss Library Service Platform Slsp
Die Swiss Library Service Platform (SLSP) ist Dienstleisterin für Bibliotheken und betreibt mit diesen zusammen die nationale Bibliotheksplattform swisscovery, die wissenschaftliche Informationen aus aktuell 500 Bibliotheken aus der Schweiz bündelt und einfach zugänglich und leicht auffindbar macht. Im Auftrag der Bibliotheken stellt SLSP den Nutzer:innen von swisscovery kostenpflichtige Leistungen der Bibliotheken in Rechnung.

It is one of the world‘s largest private specialist libraries for the history of technology and the history of materials and natural sciences. The Iron Library looks after the archives of its benefactor, Georg Fischer Ltd. The GF Corporate Archives are listed as an archive of national importance in the Swiss inventory of cultural assets. Together, the archive and the library maintain the historical and cultural heritage of the GF Corporation. They are part of the cultural, economic and social history of Switzerland.

Der historische Bestand der Kantonsbibliothek umfasst u.a. die Bestände der ehemaligen Thurgauer Klöster Ittingen, Fischingen und Kreuzlingen.

Chemistry Biology Pharmacy Information Center
The Chemistry | Biology | Pharmacy Information Center is a joint facility of both the Department of Chemistry and Applied Biosciences (D-CHAB) and the Department of Biology (D-BIOL). It supports: • Bachelor's and Master's Students • doctoral students and postdocs • senior scientists and professors from those two departments as well as from the Department of Materials (D-MATL) regarding all questions on scientific information as well as information and knowledge management. The Information Center acts as a scientific information skill center and supports the diverse teaching and research environment of ETH Zurich. Teaching is one of our most important tasks. The Information Center has developed a curriculum that ensures that students acquire the necessary skills in information management and retrieval as part of their education in chemistry, life sciences and materials science. This includes the ability to judge the relevance of scientific information as well as the development of knowledge management expertise.

Le Vilebrequin
Depuis juin 2022, au Vilebrequin, on y vient pour louer des objets (la palette est large : boule disco, tronçonneuse, fer à bricelets, et bien plus encore) de même sorte qu'on va à la ludothèque pour louer des jouets. Mais ici, on y vient également pour participer à différents cours animés par des professionnels. Et très bientôt, on y viendra pour bricoler et créer ensemble ou de manière autonome grâce à l'ouverture du FabLab. En participant et en soutenant les activités du Vilebrequin, vous contribuez à répondre à l’urgence climatique et vous participez à une économie davantage circulaire.

The Humanitarian Library is dedicated to finding the best free technical guidance for humanitarian workers and making it accessible to everyone in different languages. Every day, new practical guidelines are being published by operational humanitarian agencies around the world, such as on how to respond to Covid-19. The Humanitarian Library uploads and shares guidelines, so humanitarians can find them easily, for free, with no login, and in any language. We celebrate and support publishing organisations and other libraries by linking back to them. We also create collections of guidelines to support daily operational activities in each sector, with humanitarian agencies. Bcu Lausanne
La Bibliothèque Cantonale et Universitaire - Lausanne (BCU Lausanne) est une institution publique à vocation patrimoniale, culturelle et académique. Elle déploie ses activités sur trois sites au service de la communauté universitaire lausannoise et du grand public. Par la taille de ses collections, elle est l’une des plus grandes bibliothèques publiques et universitaires de Suisse. En 1971, elle se distingue comme la première bibliothèque du pays à avoir entièrement informatisé son catalogue. En 2009, elle est la première dans le monde francophone à avoir numérisé ses ouvrages libres de droit pour y donner accès via son catalogue en ligne. La mission de la BCU Lausanne est définie dans l'article 15 de la Loi du 19 septembre 1978 sur les activités culturelles. Ainsi, la BCU acquiert la documentation intéressant la population en général, celle nécessaire à l'étude des disciplines enseignées à l'Université de Lausanne, ainsi que la production documentaire vaudoise, contribuant ainsi au rayonnement du canton de Vaud. La BCU Lausanne fournit à ses usagers le plus large accès possible aux documents et aux informations pertinents, dans les meilleurs délais et au moindre coût. L’inscription, personnelle, est ouverte à tous dès 14 ans et permet aux usagers d’emprunter des documents à domicile.
