Heritage Flight Museum
Our History: Heritage Flight Museum was founded in 1996 by William and Valerie Anders in Bellingham, Washington. The Museum’s vintage aircraft collection began with the P-51 Mustang “Val-Halla” and has steadily grown. In 2014, HFM moved to its new home at Skagit Regional Airport in Burlington, Washington. The museum currently houses 15 aircraft, several antique military vehicles, a library and many artifacts donated by veterans. Recent facilities upgrades have helped pave the way for new acquisitions and additional exhibits. Two of William Anders’ sons joined him in the Puget Sound area to help run the museum. The photograph used in the Museum’s logo depicts Anders in the P-51 and son Greg in the F-15, taken during a photo sortie at the first Gathering of Mustangs and Legends. The NASA Connection: One of three astronauts to participate in the first manned flight around the moon, William Anders was a crew member on the historic Apollo 8 mission. The USAF Connection: Both William Anders and HFM Executive Director Greg Anders had long and distinguished careers in the US Air Force, spanning from the start of the Cold War through more recent conflicts. It is their strong connection to the Air Force that guides the Museum’s focus. At Our Core: At the heart of the museum is the large support that comes from our volunteers. History Cherokee
History Cherokee is committed to the collections, preservation, and interpretation of Cherokee County history. Through strong community partnerships, relevant educational programming, intentional collecting practices, and historic preservation advocacy we strive to inspire our audience to become empathetic and engaged participants in their communities, cultivate a love of learning and greater understanding about our shared past, and serve as a trusted community resource for Cherokee County history. History Cherokee operates the Cherokee County History Center. Although located in downtown Canton, the museum documents the history of all of Cherokee County spanning from Native American inhabitants to the industries, people, and events which shaped the area to what it is today. History Cherokee also operates the Rock Barn event venue located on Marietta Highway in Canton.

Marin Museum Of Bicycling
The Marin Museum of Bicycling is a bicycle history museum and cultural center in Fairfax, California. We are a registered 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit, entirely volunteer-created and volunteer-run. We show the 19th century evolution of the bicycle with the magnificent Igler and Kaminski Collections, through which visitors can see the fascinating development of this extraordinary vehicle, from the 1860s to the 1890s “Golden Age” and the turn of the 20th century. The museum is also the home of the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame, which was founded in Crested Butte, Colorado in 1988.

The Center for Curatorial Leadership (CCL) trains art museum curators to assume leadership positions in the rapidly evolving cultural climate of the 21st century. Cummings Center For The History Of Psychology
Drs. Nicholas and Dorothy Cummings Center for the History of Psychology (CCHP) is a research center located at The University of Akron, in Akron, Ohio. We care for, provide access to, and interpret the historical record of psychology and related human sciences. We are home to the Archives of the History of American Psychology, which holds a vast collection of artifacts, media, and documents, including the personal papers of many important psychologists. The CCHP also includes the National Museum of Psychology which provides public access to artifacts, documents, films, and photographs from the history of the human sciences. Our newest branch is the Institute for Human Science and Culture, a hands-on humanities center on the corner of campus and community. The Institute promotes exploration and appreciation of the widespread human experience, both local and global, through the activation of museum collections. Admission to the Museum and Institute galleries is free for all The University of Akron students, faculty, and staff. We are also proud participants of the Museums for All program, offering discounting admission to guests who present a state-issued EBT card. Appointments are required for archival research. Dunedin History Museum
Before assuming its current identity, the former railroad station underwent a crucial transformation facilitated by the establishment of the Dunedin Historical Society in 1970. Born out of a desire to preserve local history, the Society successfully saved and repurposed the Andrews Memorial Chapel, solidifying its commitment to safeguarding Dunedin's heritage. Andrews Memorial Chapel is operated and managed by the Dunedin History Museum. The mission of the DHM is to be the primary destination for discovering and fostering connections to Dunedin's rich history. Our commitment forms the cornerstone of the museum's exhibits, programs, events, educational initiatives, and collections that contribute to enhancing community pride. DHM is under the leadership of Executive Director Ghazala Salam, who joined the team in 2023.
