Ma’s House & BIPOC Art Studio Inc. is led by Indigenous artist Jeremy Dennis. The project began in June 2020 and serves as a communal art space based on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation in Southampton, New York. The family house, built in the 1960s, features a residency program for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), art studio, library, along with hosting an array of art and history-based programs for tribe members and the broader local community. A not-for-profit, 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, Ma’s House & BIPOC Art Studio Inc. was chartered in 2021 in the State of New York.

Museum Of Bbq
The Museum of BBQ is the world’s first museum dedicated to barbecue. Come see us in 2025 when we open at the Crown Center shops in Kansas City. The immersive series of exhibits teaches guests about the elements of barbecue and the American regions of barbecue. We dive into how the flavor in barbecue is created and encourage people to try and create great barbecue after their visit. The Museum of BBQ is designed to engage, educate, and entertain families, foodies, and visitors to Kansas City. It’s a feast for people’s senses with 10 exhibits that highlight the key elements (meat, rub and spice, wood, fire, smoke, and sauce) and regions (Memphis, Carolinas, Texas, and Kansas City) in barbecue. Along the way, folks get a chance to enjoy rib ticklers – dad jokes about BBQ – and take a dip in our bean pit, a ball pit shaped like a crock of barbecue beans.

New York Society Of Model Engineers, Inc. Nysme
Before there was an N.M.R.A, Model Railroader, or Walthers, there was the New York Society of Model Engineers (NYSME.) The Society was formed in 1926 but can trace its roots back even further. Officially NYSME was incorporated in 1934 and is known to be the oldest society in the United States of its kind. The members of the New York Society of Model Engineers will be celebrating their 100th anniversary in 2026. Our past membership reads like the Who’s Who in model railroading…. Edward Alexander, Minton Cronkhite, Fred Icken, Fred D. Grimke, Vincent Astor and many more. The Society set many model railroading standards, which were eventually adopted by the NMRA, and became the basic standards in the industry for many modeling scales. The Society was the first to organize and hold contests, setting the criteria for other famous builders, manufacturers and authors of articles on how to design and build model railroads have been included in our Society’s membership. The NYSME is dedicated to educating the public and preserving the history of American Railroads through models, exhibits and memorabilia. Your monetary gift of any amount helps the Society continue in this endeavor. We are a 501 (c)(3) public benefit, non–profit corporation and your donations will be tax deductible.(check with your tax advisor) NYSME also accepts donations of all types of model railroad items and collections. Samuel Bak Museum: The Learning Center offers a source of collaboration and opportunities to students, faculty and staff with the broader community around the subjects of art, Holocaust education, human rights and genocide.
