In Versus - Grupo De Fado E Guitarradas De Coimbra
A génese do grupo In Versus remonta a Surgiu fruto da vivência académica proporcionada por anos de convívio no seio da Versus Tuna - Tuna Académica da Universidade do Algarve. In Versus, claramente inspirado no nome da Tuna, mostra as raízes deste projeto nascido entre alunos e antigos alunos da Universidade do Algarve. Este projeto musical contou, ao longo da sua história, com antigos alunos da Universidade de Coimbra, Universidade do Porto e Universidade do Algarve. São reconhecidos como referência neste estilo musical a sul de Coimbra. O grupo tem marcado presença habitual nas Monumentais Serenatas Académicas. Os espetáculos nas Escadarias da Sé de Faro e no Largo do Carmo em Faro, organizados pela Associação Académica da Universidade do Algarve são pontos altos dos festejos da Academia Algarvia. Naturalmente, também têm realizado espetáculos um pouco por todo o Algarve a convite de várias empresas e instituições. Contam no seu repertório com temas clássicos de Coimbra bem como fados e guitarradas de novas gerações Coimbrãs. Anos 20 a 40 Artur Paredes e Edmundo Bettencourt. Anos 50 a 60 António Portugal, Luiz Goes e António Brojo. Anos 60 e seguintes Manuel Alegre, João Bagão, Jorge Gomes e Carlos Paredes.
