Ontario Presents
Ontario Presents is a member-based, not-for-profit arts service organization that works to support the performing arts presenting sector in Ontario. The network is comprised of performing arts venue managers, presenters, artists and artist managers who work collaboratively to improve arts presentation practice in the Province of Ontario Ontario Presents exists to strengthen and support the practice of performing arts presentation so that it becomes more collaborative, artist-focused, and meaningful to communities. We believe that building effective and authentic relationships are fundamental to our work. Ontario Presents’ mission, then, is to support the curatorial development of its members by fostering effective working relationships among artists, agents, producers, and presenters in their mutual endeavours to stage great performing arts experiences that open citizens’ minds and hearts to the world and the peoples around them. Opera Mariposa
Opera Mariposa is a critically-acclaimed company working to make opera more accessible for all. As Canada's first entirely, openly disability-run opera company, we are dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities for emerging and underrepresented artists, and have been recognized as "[one of] Canada's key indie players"(Opera Canada Magazine). Since 2012, our mainstage productions have been hailed as "well-honed"(Opera Canada),"delightful"(Review Vancouver) and "a stroke of genius"(The Voice), while our annual Benefit + Awareness events have raised over for charity to date. Our passion for accessibility has led us to offer a broad array of free community events and digital performances as well as subsidized tickets for underrepresented groups. We also bring audiences commissioned performances through our Repertory Concert Artist Program, and present interdisciplinary works through the Mariposa Theatre Wing. In 2019 we became one of the founding member companies of Indie Opera West, a collective of independent companies dedicated to fostering collaboration and innovation, building capacity, promoting equity and diversity, and advocating for the operatic art form across Western Canada.

Paprika Theatre Festival
Established in 2001, the Paprika Theatre Festival is a youth-led professional performing arts organization. We run year-round professional training and mentorship programs that culminate in a performing arts festival of new work by young artists. We generate opportunities for young artists to lead their own creative process with the support of their peers and professional mentors. We set the stage for young artists to have their voices heard in a setting that is supportive and also dependent on critical response. We ensure that young artists are well equipped to find employment in diverse cultural industries and to become our successors. The Paprika Theatre Festival has grown from a festival of five short plays to a festival with year-round programming featuring a diversity of productions, playwrights-in-residence, a resident company, a creators’ unit, a youth advisory board, a cabaret series, ongoing mentorship, monthly training days and a vibrant connection to the professional arts community. In our 20 seasons to date, we have supported the artistic work of over individuals and launched over 100 professional careers. Our goal is to generate a supportive yet rigorous community that inspires young people to create the highest caliber of artistic work. Based in St. John's, NL, Canada, we are a non-profit organization that responds to the persistent and universal need for promoting, understanding and embracing the core beliefs of feminism. Players' Theatre
Players' Theatre is a non-profit that serves both the McGill and Montreal community. Founded in 1921, Players’ Theatre is Montreal’s oldest English-speaking black box theatre and one of the few remaining English theatre groups in Montreal. As an independent student group, Players’ Theatre is completely operated by undergraduate students, and funding comes strictly from the ticket sales of our shows. Each year we produce four season shows, typically plays, as well produce the annual McGill Drama Festival (MDF) which features original plays that are written, acted, produced, and directed by students. Players’ also hosts McGill’s only sketch comedy troupe, Bring Your Own Juice, for one week of shows in March.

Resource Centre For The Arts Lspu Hall
Resource Centre for the Arts operates from the historic LSPU Hall (so named as it was formerly owned by the Longshoremen’s Protective Union), affectionately referred to as The Hall – which houses a 172-192 seat theatre and a bar/Cox & Palmer Second Space Performance Room, in the heart of downtown St. John’s, Newfoundland. Sault Community Theatre Centre
The Sault Ste. Marie Community Theatre Centre operates a multi-purpose theatre with 897 seats, plus 10 wheelchair sites. Constructed in 1988, the Theatre is part of the White Pines Collegiate and Vocational School. This climate controlled performing space is equipped with comfortable seating and state of the art lighting and sound that is expertly operated by a full time technical director and staff. Our unique 25-year partnership with the Algoma District School Board has resulted in the Theatre being the District’s premier performing space, as well as a unique education resource. In 2017, the Sault CTC opened the Studio Theatre, located behind the main stage. With separate entrance, the Studio Theatre sets up to 125 people. depending on intended use. It is well-equipped with lighting, sound and projection making it ideal for intimate performances, readings, and screenings. The Community Theatre Centre is located on a major artery in the east end of the city, accessible by public transportation and with large, well-kept and well-lit parking areas.

At Soulful Productions, we produce musical events and enhance the visibility of global causes. We feature vocalists who span the moods of jazz, rhythm and blues, and soul, along with international drag talent who share their incredible energy, laughter, strength, and uniqueness with the audience. With each production, our purpose is to entertain, inspire action, and motivate artistic expression. In 2018, Soulful Productions produced Sweet Bubbling Nights at Vancouver Playhouse starring Sibel Thrasher, Justine Tyme, Marcus Mosely, Willie Taylor, Candus Churchill, Carlotta Gurl, Daniel Szabo with Bill Sample, members of Queer As Funk and House of La Douche. A gala evening in support of the LGBTI Pulse Memorial Scholarship® In 2015, Soulful Production produced The Ladies #LightTheirWay, a fundraising event for IOM's Global Solar Lanterns Initiative, on behalf of the International Organization for Migration (IOM). Funds raised benefited solar lantern distributions through IOM Ghana and IOM Somalia. Between 1998 and 2007, productions of An Evening in the Clouds, three successive A Touch of Soul, and An Evening At the Oasis triumphantly raised funds for three organizations: the Canadian Liver Foundation, A Loving Spoonful, and CH.I.L.D. Foundation, founded by former B.C. Minister of Transportation and Deputy Premier The Hon. Grace McCarthy. Special guests included dignitaries such as Lesra Martin, an American-Canadian lawyer best known for helping secure the release of former boxer Rubin ‘The Hurricane’ Carter.

Spec Theatre
First and foremost, Spec Theatre is situated on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, Stolo, Squamish, and other Indigenous Nations. We are settlers unsettled working towards reconciliation and relations through evolutionary change in policies, actions and spaces. This is a continuous process and involves incorporating different worldviews and voices in all aspects of our organization, including voices in our governing body. Spec Theatre is a grassroots theatre collective, working towards facilitating, uplifting, collaborating and building long-standing connections and relationships with communities and voices through performance and play. We wish to bear witness and support other local creators' creations, with extra attention for Indigenous, Black, People of Colour, Trans, Two-Spirited, LGBTQ, People with Disabilities and other marginalized and colonial suppressed artistic voices. Our dream is to continue to create theatre, collaborate and facilitate other artists' visions and journeys. We also acknowledge that there is levity and deep reciprocity in this process. We would also like to offer our services which include- Dramaturgy - Collaborative Creation - Direction - Writing Seminars Our current project is a podcast based on our hit, touring play Artisanal Intelligence, about a hipster AI customer service robot that gains sentience during a demonstration to sell her. The podcast follows the robot and her creator's continuing adventures. Artificial Outings: A Roving Podcast Tour offers short roving tours of different, unique parts of Vancouver, highlighting the diversity of cultures, histories, weird caveats, and oddball facts that make up this beautifully and deeply vast geographical location. Our studios are in New York, Toronto, Montreal and Boston. Known as the “Gym for Actors,” the Straeon Acting Studio carries a reputation of being intimate and intense. Coaching is tailored to the individual and does not adhere to one particular method, allowing each actor to discover his or her own process. Acting classes are held on an ongoing, weekly basis. An auditing program allows new students to observe scene work and participate in class discussions. Studio members are working actors from all levels.
