Austrian Bioimaging
Austrian BioImaging/ CMI is the official Euro-BioImaging Node of Austria. It was established as a consortium of leading imaging scientists of eight universities and research institutes in and around Vienna to foster and pioneer correlated multimodal imaging across scales in life sciences. Correlated imaging gathers information about the specimen with two or more complementary modalities that - combined - create a highly informative, composite view of the sample. CMI offers a multitude of basic and high-end state-of-the-art imaging technologies from preclinical imaging to super-resolution microscopy, numerous multimodal correlated imaging pipelines, and various support services, such as data and image analysis, to researchers, scientists and companies on a national and international level. Imaging techniques at CMI span the entire resolution range of interest for preclinical and biological studies, and provide complementary sample information about structure, function and molecular composition. The more than 35 imaging techniques allow both in- and ex-vivo imaging and molecular analysis. Particularly, CMI is developing and setting up entirely new multimodal workflows at the forefront of correlated imaging, which can involve more than two imaging modalities - and hence significantly advances the field with truly holistic approaches. Over the last few years, imaging and imaging platforms have evolved rapidly and place high demands on technology, innovation and management. With the foundation of CMI, Austria meets the arising need in international research for centralized platforms with both highly specialized and holistic imaging approaches.

European Academies Science Advisory Council Easac
EASAC is the voice of independent science advice, mobilising Europe’s leading scientists to guide EU policy for the benefit of society. It brings together the National Academies of Science of the EU Member States, Norway, Switzerland and UK. EASAC is the association of the National Academies of Science of the EU Member States, Norway and Switzerland. EASAC's governing body is Council, consisting of the representatives of EASAC member academies. The EASAC President works together with four Vice-Presidents in EASAC Bureau. The day-to-day business of EASAC is handled by a professional Secretariat based at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna. EASAC also has a Brussels Office, hosted by the Royal Academies for Science and the Arts of Belgium (RASAB). Its mission reflects the view of academies that science is central to many aspects of modern life and that an appreciation of the scientific dimension is a pre-requisite to wise policy-making. This view already underpins the work of many academies at national level. With the growing importance of the European Union as an arena for policy, academies recognise that the scope of their advisory functions needs to extend beyond the national to cover also the European level. Here it is often the case that a trans-European grouping can be more effective than a body from a single country.

Geosaic Gmbh
Geosaic GmbH is a young company: an engineering company for earth sciences that was founded on January 21, 2021. The aim of the young company is to use digital tools to increasingly supplement or automate the conventional way of interpreting geophysical and geological data and ultimately to replace it in the long term. This shall be achieved by specializing in new artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and with the help of aircraft. These tools are increasingly being tested and applied when interpreting geophysical data or, in the medium term, for other geoscientific issues. Where does the name Geosaic come from? Geo s ai c is a compound word from Geo, Science and AI. As a whole word, Geosaic also means geoscientific mosaic which Geosaic is trying to solve with AI. What are the benefits of Geosaic? Geosaic specializes exclusively in AI in connection with geosciences. There are 3 subject areas: AI projects, AI training and AI research. However, it is also possible that Geosaic will expand to other related sciences. Why Geosaic? Geosaic was founded to enable the digital revolution for the geosciences. This requires a lot of research (research rate:>50% in the first year) and may be risky for the founder, but also very exciting. But since Geosaic deals exclusively with AI topics, synergy effects can be achieved, and AI solutions can be implemented faster and cheaper for customers.
