The iPrint institute is active in the field of digital printing with a clear focus on inkjet technology. It contributes to the technology transfer between the innovation in fundamental, precompetitive and applied research and their application in a wide range of domains in the industry as well from a material point of view as for processes and products. It supports its local, national and international partners in all domains, where digital printing and coating technology can be used for production processes toward digital direct manufacturing in the context of industry 4.0. In addition to its research activities, the iPrint Institute provides training and education in the field of inkjet. Featuring permanently installed dedicated labs and training platforms, the training course program entitled “The Inkjet Training” offers hands-on lab experiences to participants from all over the world. The first level is the Foundation Course, which imparts introductory knowledge in inkjet engineering and chemistry. Participants in this course will emerge with a broadened knowledge base and a capacity for interdisciplinary communication. Advanced learners can attend one of the Masterclass courses, which offer higher-level training in specific areas of expertise.

Philochem is based in Otelfingen (Zurich, Switzerland) and was founded in 2006, with the mission to innovate ligand discovery and medicinal target identification. These technologies are integrated into drug discovery programs. The most promising candidate products are further developed in the Siena-based Philogen facilities.
